Why this tour?
We created this tour as a time-efficient version of our globally award-winning Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island Tour.
You get the same expert local guide who can tell you all about Liberty and Ellis Islands. You still get reserved timed entry to the ferry and a handcrafted itinerary to make your trip stress-free. And of course, you get to see Lady Liberty herself up-close on Liberty Island.
Enjoy all of that in just two hours.
This tour is for travelers with a busy schedule who still want to see the Statue of Liberty on the island — not just cruise around it like some boat tours offer.
We begin at Castle Clinton at Battery Park and end at the Statue of Liberty on Liberty Island. You’ll also have the opportunity to visit the Statue of Liberty Museum on Liberty Island with tips from your guide on what you’ll see inside. You can continue on to Ellis Island on your own if you wish.
Your trip to New York might be packed, but don’t skip the statue. Our express Statue of Liberty tour lets even the busiest travelers experience the rich legacy of this iconic attraction.

This tour is accessible for wheelchairs and strollers, but it is a walking tour once we’re on the island. The ferry may have limited seating as well. If you’re worried about mobility, we recommend contacting us for a private tour to ensure you get the same great experience and can go at your own pace.
The guided tour is about 2 hours. The tour ends at Liberty Island, where you can stay as long as you like exploring the museum and grounds. Afterward, simply take the ferry back to Battery Park. Allow 3 hours total if you’re just visiting Liberty Island. Allow 4 hours if you want to visit Ellis Island as well.
Yes, your ferry tickets to the islands and back from Castle Clinton at Battery Park are included with this tour.
The National Park Service doesn’t allow any guiding inside the Statue of Liberty Museum. However, your guide will help you prepare for your visit by telling you what to look for inside. This is especially helpful if you’re trying to be efficient with your time on the island.
We understand plans change. We offer a 100% refund or the option to reschedule up to 24 hours prior to your tour start time. Within 24 hours of your tour, we would have incurred hard costs and therefore cannot allow rescheduling or cancellation without costs.
Our tours run in all weather, and the ride to Liberty Island can be windy. Check the local forecast so you know what to wear. If we do have to cancel for severe weather conditions, we’ll let you reschedule or receive a full refund.
Tips are never expected but always appreciated. If you think your guide did a great job on your tour, a tip is a wonderful way to let them know.
